BTDTRacing.com was devised as a way to ensure a healthy supply of spare parts for our team of Spec Miatas. Over time we were able to provide help and support to other grassroots racers: fellow wheel to wheel drivers, autocrossers and the Sunday cruisers. We started from a modest garage in 2006, driving our first donor back from the East coast. Today we've grown to a 15,000 sq ft facility and three Spec Miatas. We pride ourselves in providing knowledgeable support for the best roadster ever built.

Blake - Blake began racing Soap Box Derby cars at the ripe age of six. With the support of father, Willy, grandfathers and many friends we built our first derby car. Later Blake raced rally cross in a 1999 Honda Civic, autocrossed in a 2001 Miata and 1989 CRX SI, and finally clamored his way into Spec Miata during 2006. Blake ran the 2008 June Sprints and secured the 2011 Spec Miata championship with the Midwestern Council of Sports Car Clubs.

Willy - Willy is a competitive autocrosser, since racing with Blake in a 1979 Midget in 2001. After making the move to include Miatas he secured the 2007 Class C championship with the Windy City Miata club. He's competent and sure-footed on track, rarely making a mistake and frequently qualifying right-behind, in-front-of and alongside the two other team cars.
